Rencontres plot
A pianist is injured after an accident and is destroyed by the fact that he can no longer play music. At his wits' end, he commits a scam and tries to extort money from his insurance company by simulating a suicide. For this he needs the complicity of his wife. The latter is only too eager to help him because she hopes in this way to regain her freedom so that she can return to her former lover.
