Redemption plot

Xiao Likun runs a horse farm on the outskirts of the city. One day, his ex-wife Jiang Yue appears and demands to see her three-year-old son Xiao Lei. Likun refuses, saying her son doesn't want to see her. Later, Yue goes to Likun's flat and wants to know where he is hiding her son. They get into a fight and Likun writes down a few words for her on a newspaper. Yue applies for custody of her child through the court, on the grounds that Likun is an unsuitable parent. She cites as proof the words on the newspaper that says he is hiding his son and wants to kill her.
