Red Haired Alibi plot

Lynn Monith, 23, is a cigar salesman at the Hotel Savoy in Columbus, Ohio. Redhead Lynn befriends New York white-collar criminal Trent Travers. When Hotel Savoy closes, Lynn travels to New York in hopes that Trent will offer her a job there. Before Trent returns from his out-of-town pursuits, however, the nearly destitute Lynn meets wealthy Robert Shelton, whose wife has recently left him, and they spend the evening together.
