Possum Paddock plot

Andrew 'Dad' McQuade is in trouble because he can't repay a bank loan. He decides to sell a 50-acre paddock called 'Possum Paddock' to his neighbour. However, Hugh Bracken, who is going with McQuade's daughter Nancy, sells his car to pay off her father's debt. It then turns out that a railway is to be built through the paddock and that the land is worth a fortune.
