Piaf plot

Édith Giovanna Gassion was discovered in 1935 by Louis Leplée, who owned a nightclub in Paris. Under his care she gained great fame as Edith Piaf. A few years later she was charged with the murder of the same man, after which she was in danger of falling into obscurity again. But the piece 'Le Bel Indifferent' written by Jean Cocteau made her the talk of the town again. The story of the intense life of a French singer whose life was as dramatic as her chansons.
