Perfect Harmony plot

The Blanton Boys Academy is an upscale boarding school in South Carolina, famous for its boys' choir. One day a black boy shows up around the white school. It is Landy, the grandson of Zeke Allen who works at the school. Landy turns out to be a good blues singer and that piques the interest of Taylor Bradshaw, the choir's star singer. Their shared love of music makes the boys friends and sparks a major racial conflict.
