Young William Jordan is charged with manslaughter and ends up in prison. However, he is friends with Judge Mathews, the man who issued his sentence. Mathews thinks Jordan will get better now, but isn't thrilled to learn that his daughter Elizabeth is in love with him. Then Jordan becomes involved in a murder again, but he decides not to betray his fellow inmate. Jordan is sentenced to death. Will the real culprit make an appearance?
