Parachute Nurse plot
"Sharp-Chutin' Lovelies... Doing Their Daring Bit For Uncle Sam!"
Nurses Glenda White and Dottie Morrison join the newly formed corps of parachute nurses. These nurses are dropped in places that are not accessible for regular medical help. Glenda and Dotti discover that they have engaged in a life of rigorous training under strict military rules. The only bright spots are their instructors, Lieutenant Jim Woods and Sergeant Peters. After weeks of hard training, a class of nurses is ready for the first parachute jump. Tragedy strikes when nurse Gretchen Ernst, who is discharged from the US Army because her brother serves in the German Army, commits suicide during her parachute jump.
