Orient Express plot

On December 24, the 'Orient Express' gets snowed in near a small mountain village. The passengers are forced to spend time there. They mingle with the local population and disrupt their usually monotonous daily life. The beautiful teacher Beatrice Landi finds it increasingly difficult to be in the company of the arrogant Philippo dal Pozzo, the mayor of the mountain village. Beatrice falls in love with journalist Jacques Ferrand, who she initially thought was a dangerous criminal. The entertainer Roxane falls in love with Giovanni, Dal Pozzo's cousin. The pharmacist Agnes begins to dream of a new life with her fellow passenger Mr. Davis, a jovial Englishman.
