Danny, a former commando, tries to reconnect with his teenage daughter during a road trip. When an unexpected detour leads them to a mysterious, remote community, his daughter is kidnapped, and the journey turns into a heart-stopping fight for survival. Mediocre action film. The story is simple and not particularly special. The execution is rather average. The build-up is a bit long considering the short running time. Then comes the suspense and action. It doesn't get truly nerve-wracking, and the action is solid but not spectacular. It is entertaining, and the film doesn't get boring, thanks in part to its short running time. The acting is adequate. It's a bit odd that a second installment is being planned. 3.0
