Old Man plot
In the deep south of the United States, in the 1920s, the convicted JJ resides in a penitentiary located in a farm. JJ has served six of the fifteen years he was sentenced to after a train robbery. Then he and his fellow inmates are deployed in a natural disaster. The Mississippi overflows its banks and many local residents are in trouble. Unable to swim, JJ is determined to save a woman who finds herself in a predicament. When he can finally get to her, JJ discovers that she is about to give birth to a baby.
