Night Train for Inverness plot

Ex-con Roy Lewis travels to London to reunite with his estranged wife Ann and his seven-year-old son Ted. Despite the fact that Ann wants to meet her husband, her mother tells him she doesn't want anything to do with him anymore. Frustrated by the situation, Roy kidnaps his son and takes the night train to Inverness in hopes of starting a new life in Scotland. What he doesn't know, however, is that Ted has diabetes and his health will be in serious danger if he doesn't get his insulin injections on a regular basis.
