Narren plot

The intense loner Roman moves to Cologne to work as a draftsman and be near his dying grandmother. Meanwhile, literally under his window, the hedonic Cologne Carnival is about to start and he is unable to get enough rest and fully enjoy his opportunities to do his job. That's why he goes to a party that ends when he witnesses a crime. However, he is too reluctant to participate in the violence that erupts when he comes face to face with the perpetrator. Later, he meets a woman named Stella and goes to her home, which has another disturbing outcome.
