Joachim is an attractive 29-year-old man, but his charismatic appearance hides the daily battle he has with himself and his heroin addiction. He hates the drug and his dependence on it, but it soothes the pain and loneliness. Years of addiction mean that Joachim is teetering on the edge of the abyss. Then he gets an unexpected phone call from his ex-girlfriend Maria.
