Nami plot

Yuka arrives at the Seaside hotel in a sleepy seaside town. The season is over. She is alone, her traveling companion is unable to attend, she says. The night porter asks her if she wants to scuba dive but she doesn't, even though she's bored. Night porter Ken has his own problems. His casual girlfriend Mika has dumped him. On the beach Yuka meets Mika and they start talking. Mika invites Yuka to live with her in the apartment. Her new lover didn't show up so she has room to spare. A state of relative harmony ensues until Tatsu, Ken's old school friend, comes along.
