My Madonna plot
Robert, a poor artist, has a vision of the Madonna and seeks a model to pose for a painting of the apparition. During his half-mad wanderings, he meets Lucille, a high-society prostitute who seems perfect for his creation. Robert paints a striking portrait, and Lucille, now infatuated with the artist, convinces an acquaintance of art buyers to purchase it. Success and fame soon follow.
