Mubansô plot
Under the deceptive musical title 'A Cappella' (the name of a coffee bar popular with young people), this coming-of-age drama is set during the student riot in Japan in 1969. The charming young heroine becomes involved in radical protest movements. Her sexual initiation is not without a struggle and reveals dark secrets.
