Mongrels plot
In the summer of 1991, a Korean family consisting of a widower, his teenage son, and young daughter move to the Canadian countryside in hopes of making a fresh start. Sonny, trying to escape the grief of the recent loss of his wife, is offered a job helping to eradicate the feral dogs that plague the town. In return, he and his children are given a place to live. While he throws himself into his work, his children Hajoon and Hana must navigate an unfamiliar environment, both geographically and emotionally.
