Mod Lyset plot

Countess Ysabel spends her time with young men and not in church. She even openly declares that she is an atheist. However, Baron Sandro Grec manages to catch her in his web and the two announce their wedding. This drives one of Ysabel's young lovers to suicide, and her happiness is further disrupted when Sandro Grec turns out to be a nobility and a thief. Ysabel flees to an island where a young priest has set up a community for the homeless.
