Mockery plot

The Russian Revolution rages across the country and these are difficult days for the upper class. A simple, hungry Siberian peasant (Lon Chaney) runs into Countess Alexandrova (Barbara Bedford). She wants him to show her the way to Novokursk in exchange for food. When wild Bolsheviks attack her, the peasant stands up for her.
