Men Up plot
In 1994, a group of ordinary, middle-aged men at Morriston Hospital in Swansea, Wales, venture into the unknown by taking part in the world’s first medical trials of the drug Sildenafil, later known as Viagra. During the trials, the five men—Meurig, Colin, Peetham, Eddie and Tommy—get to know each other and become friends. They are all searching for a way to alleviate the impotence they suffer from and discover the effect this revolutionary pill has on their relationships at home. As the men go through the trials, they come to terms with some hard truths about themselves and accept that other factors are influencing them.
