Memory Box plot
Maia raises her teenage daughter Alex alone in Montreal. On Christmas Eve, they receive an unexpected package containing notes, videotapes and photos, which Maia sent to her best friend in the 1980s. While Maia refuses to retrieve these memories, her daughter secretly delves into her past. Through this she discovers her mother's turbulent childhood during the Lebanese civil war.
