Medium Cool plot
"Beyond the age of innocence...into the age of awareness."
Cameraman John and his sound engineer Gus are passionate about their work. They don't really feel involved in the events they are recording, but rather focus on the recording itself. When at the end of the 1960s there was quite a bit of political unrest in the US and John also became an indirect victim of this, he only realized what was actually happening around him. This especially in light of the responsibility of his profession as a journalist.
