Mechta plot

Ukrainian Anna came to Poland from Lviv to work in a restaurant and as a servant for Mrs Rosa Skorokhod. The Poles around her are all badly spoiled by their capitalist life and Anna is not having a good time there. She tries to walk back to Russia with Lazar Skorokhod, Rosa's son. She is imprisoned for this, but after her sentence she continues to fight for a better society.
