Maya plot

"A child's innocence shattered by tradition."

Maya is a happy little girl who spends a summer exploring the wide area with her nephew and playmate Sanjay, playing tricks, bickering and then dozing off tired but satisfied in their large bed for two. But one day Maya's pants turn red and the whole world around her seems to have decided that she is an adult from now on. From now on, Maya helps with the housework and soon a trip is planned to return her to her real parents. The family starts preparations for the grand ritual that will celebrate Maya's entry into womanhood.
