Mavi Sürgün plot

In 1925 Cevat Şakir's article appears in the magazine Resimle Ay. The article denounces the resistance of men who have been sentenced to death without any adversity for failing to complete their military service. Cevat Şakir and the magazine's editor-in-chief, Zekeriya Sertel, are arrested and convicted. Their sentence is 3 years in exile. Cevat Şakir is sent to Bodrum and Zekeriya Sertel to Sinop. The journey of journalist Cevat, who is taken as a detainee from Ankara to Bodrum, takes a month and a half. He experiences the most interesting things along the way.
