Master plot

"Power has its way."

The events that would later become known as the July Revolution in Bangladesh began in early June 2024. They culminated on August 5th, when Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned, ending a fifteen-year autocracy. How did the country function under this autocratic rule, and who were the people who maintained it? Some were like Jahir: a respected, even beloved, teacher in a small town deep in the forest.
