Marie Madeleine plot

In Jacmel, on the southern coast of Haiti, the sea, the churches, and the spirits define daily life. Marie Madeleine is a free woman who lives off prostitution and refuses to submit to any religion. When she meets Joseph, a young believer deeply involved in an evangelical community, a bond forms between these two who, at first glance, have nothing in common. While Joseph doubts his faith, Marie Madeleine draws him into a world where desire, faith, and the search for freedom create a space where everything can be reinvented.
