Mariage plot
June 6, 1944. A house on the beach of Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer in Normandy. The newlyweds - Janine and Henry, who got married the day before - are going to stay there. The windows don't close properly, the water seeps through the pipes and the walls, a lot of things are wrong in the house, but love conquers all. The owner of the house wishes them many happy years. Suddenly, people of the resistance invade and shoot from a room at the German soldiers on the beach. Three other episodes follow from a period of thirty years in which the failure of this marriage is shown. The emphasis is then on hatefulness, indifference and quarrels.
