Mambar Pierrette plot

The city of Douala is in suspense for the start of the school year. A long line of customers come to Mambar Pierrette, the neighborhood tailor, to get their new clothes for the upcoming social events and ceremonies. Pierrette is more than a seamstress, she becomes the confidant of her customers, of a generation. But when it starts to rain and threatens to flood her studio - one of the successive setbacks - Pierrette has to survive.
