Malpensa plot

Two Dutch men in their thirties get into a conversation at Malpensa airport. They are waiting for their flight to Rome, which is delayed. It is not clear whether they know each other. They could be friends, but their topics of conversation are of an astonishing superficiality. Thinking is audible and visible. As the conversation progresses, companionship and sacrifice seem to take on a different meaning than the two could ever have imagined. Then their flight leaves and life goes on irrevocably. For one of the men, anyway.
