Magic Lantern plot
Mitch is a 22-year-old film operator who loads the last film for a very last showing in a small cinema, which will be transformed into an entertainment hall. He peers through the small projection window and sees another world, where another version of himself works in a thrift store. He has a lonely existence there, until an extraterrestrial beautiful woman comes there looking for the perfect hat.
