Lyubit... plot

Four stories about different stages of love and infatuation. In the first part, we see three 'modern' young couples who are not yet wondering whether their love will last forever. In the second segment, a young woman grieves over a broken relationship. She strikes up a conversation with a young man on the tram who is accompanying her home. In the third fragment, a woman wants to leave by train, but her lover persuades her to stay another night in Moscow, but they are not welcome anywhere, so they seek refuge in the countryside. In the last part, a young farmer brings in the hay harvest. Along the way, he picks up a young lady along the river, after which they slowly give in to their crush. The fragments are contained in a frame story in which the ordinary Russian is asked in street interviews what he or she thinks of 'love'.
