Love, Honor and -- ? plot

Aviator Keith Elliot returns from his service in World War I in France to his Long Island estate to discover that his wife Constance has attempted to overcome her grief over his absence by throwing house parties in which she and her guests indulge in drinking, gambling and smoking cigarettes. Constance resents Keith's demands that she stop, and when he says that the word "obey" in her wedding vow has no meaning to her, she says that he has absorbed too much military discipline. When Keith orders her former suitor, Butler Hayes, who has plans for her, to leave, Constance accuses Keith of being a pushover. Keith then kidnaps Constance and flies to a small island where he owns a hunting lodge.
