Lissy plot
1932. Lissy, the daughter of social-democratic workers and former trade unionists, wants to get out of the dull Berlin secret annexe environment. Alfred Fromeyer, a good-looking man, promises her a safe life as a husband. But as soon as the first child arrives, Fromeyer loses his job. He lets himself be seduced by the Nazi slogans and becomes SA-Sturmführer. Also Lissy's brother Paul, formerly a member of the Red Youth Front, now wears an SA uniform. However, suspicious of his communist past, Paul is one day shot dead by the Nazis. This event opens Lissy's eyes. She can no longer remain Fromeyer's wife.
