Les Épouvantails plot

January 2014. Zina and Joe, both around 20, return to Tunisia. They were arrested and raped in Syria a while back. Zina is separated from her baby, and Joe, who is pregnant, locks herself up and doesn't talk about the horrors she experienced in Syria. She does express it in the novel she is writing. Nadia, a lawyer, and Dora, a doctor, try to help the two women.
