Le Lien plot

During the war, Eva miraculously managed to escape the manhunt that resulted in her entire family being deported to Auschwitz. This includes her granddaughter Sarah, who is only a few months old. It is now 1959 and Eva is 55 years old. She has remarried to Nathan. She is a French teacher at a lyceum and is trying to build a new life with her husband. One day she meets Meunier, Sylvie's father, a new student in her class. Eva recognizes in this man one of the men who killed her family. She strongly suspects that Sylvie is actually Sarah. Who she always thought she was dead...
