Laut Bercerita plot

The recent arrest of three activists accused of distributing banned books has created a tense atmosphere on campus. Biru Laut, a student in Yogyakarta, joins a discussion group called Winatra. Together with his friends Daniel, Alex, and Sunu, and his girlfriend Anjani, Laut comes to realize that striving for freedom of speech in this country is a long and winding road. One night, Laut and his friends disappear without a trace. Family and friends search for them but find no answers. Years later, Laut's sister, Asmara Jati, and his friends are determined to find out what happened to their loved ones.
