Last Light plot

"One defying the system. One sworn to uphold it."

Denver Bayliss is sentenced to death for the murder of three people, including a prison guard. Pending his execution, he is placed in a high-security facility. Here he falls victim to the inhumane treatment by the prison management. One of the guards gets into trouble because he refuses to participate in the systematic abuse of the prisoners. A kind of friendship develops between the two men, although they feel threatened by each other.
