La Criatura plot

Cristina has a special and deep bond with her dog, a German Shepherd. Her husband Marcos, a man with right-wing sympathies along the lines of dictator Franco, presents a derogatory game show for television. When Cristina at one point refuses to have sex with him, he gets drunk and rapes her. She tells her story to the priest, but he justifies Marcos's action in the name of the holy marriage.
