Konfrontation plot

A Jewish medical student moves from Frankfurt to Bern after 1933 and is granted Swiss nationality. Alarming reports from Germany about Nazism and the rise of a National Socialist party in Switzerland prompted him to resist and in 1936 he shoots a party leader. Although he is sentenced to 18 years - and will not be pardoned until 1945 - his act prompted restrictive government measures against Swiss Nazism.
