Koenigsmark plot

Aurora, the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, marries Federico, her late husband's brother, for political reasons. However, she loves Vignertè, the little Prince's French tutor. Vignertè discovers the skeleton of the Grand Duke in a secret dungeon of the castle and it is revealed that he did not die in Africa, as everyone believed, but that Federico had killed him to become the heir apparent himself. Then war breaks out and this means the end of the love of Aurora and Vignertè: she takes him to the border to prevent his arrest but refuses to follow him further...
