Knockout plot

"From Champ to Chump!"

Fighter Johnny Rocket agrees to his fiancée Angela's request to retire from boxing after his next fight. Promoter Trego, who has just bought Johnny's contract, urges him to continue and realize his potential, but Johnny refuses. Later, after the couple marries and Angela becomes pregnant, Johnny is unable to find work and returns to Trego and the ring. Under Trego's guidance, Johnny's career blossoms, but with disastrous consequences for his marriage.
