Kaleldo plot
In the best time of their lives, three women will find out what it means to be free. The story is told in three segments, each part through the eyes of three daughters in a span of seven summers in Guagua, Pampanga. Mang Rudy is a woodcarver who, after losing his wife, rules over his children with an iron hand. His youngest daughter Grace must accept reality if she has to leave her parental home, where she is deeply rooted, when she marries Conrad. Furthermore, his married middle daughter gets involved in unsavory affairs. The eldest daughter, Jess, is a lesbian and therefore unwanted by her father. When Mang Rudy gets sick and has to stay in bed, Jess brings her friend to her father.
