Jun'ai Monogatari plot

War orphan Hajakawa has already escaped several reform schools when he rescues Micuko from a pack of pickpockets. The young couple in love steals to survive in post-war Tokyo. Their love is pure, but the society around them is not. The well-meaning criminal justice officers feel the two are a bad influence on each other and continue to try to separate the two.
