Jump! plot

September 10, 1928. Riga-born Jewish dentist Morduch Halsman undertakes a mountain journey with his 22-year-old son Philippe. The relationship between father and son has been tense for some time. When Morduch dies on a hike, suspicion quickly falls on his son, although many prove his innocence and he claims his father has fallen into the abyss. But the National Socialists, who became increasingly powerful at that time, wanted to set an example for all of Judaism with Philippe. And so Philippe is placed under arrest and charged with patricide.
