Jom plot

A griot - a West African poet, hymn and musician - travels through time and the collective Senegalese memory to capture situations all about honor and dignity. In this way different stories come together in the film. There is the story of the legendary Prince Dieri Dior Ndella, who gave his life in times of colonialism and in the 1940s the entertainer Koura Thiaw stood up for the oppressed in his beloved country.
