Joki plot

Series of intertwined events on an ordinary Saturday in a small town. The emphasis is on the feelings of those involved. Two boys save the young woman Anni and her baby from drowning; she wanted to end her life. Esa, a musician who does not have luck on his side, urgently needs a loan and is going to celebrate his father's sixtieth birthday. Leena, a waitress at a pizza parlor, tries to rekindle a romance between her two co-workers. Middle-aged Ilpo comes home from work earlier than usual and finds a strange man in the matrimonial bed. Milja, an old woman, is waiting for her daughter in the hospital; her husband lying there is terminally ill. Santeri, a teenager, tries to accept his homosexuality.
