This film tells the story of Isabella Eberhardt. She was a journalist who traveled extensively in North Africa. On one of her many travels, she became involved in Morocco's struggle for independence. She showed only good intentions and she was eager to help. But because she was a woman, the men in the Arab culture wanted nothing to do with her.
