Inside plot
Marty Strydom is an idealistic university professor. He comes from a prominent 'white' South African litter. He is charged with conspiracy against the government after attending an Amnesty International concert in Zimbabwe and ends up in jail. Colonel Kruger of the secret police must make Strydom confess. After torture and a false witness statement, Strydom loses his fighting spirit for survival. Ten years later, after power in South Africa was handed over to the black majority, there is a new investigation. This time, Colonel Kruger is being questioned by a black lawyer. Can Kruger's guilt be proven in the new South Africa? Will there be justice?
